Images: Mysterious aurora, mighty storms on Saturn

The upper image of Saturn's south pole shows the polar region in false color--red, green, and blue. Dark spots indicate the presence of thick convective clouds. Red shows the "warm glow of Saturn's interior heat diffusing upward," according to NASA.
