Images: NASA confirms water on Mars

NASA has had no trouble scooping soil samples from the ground, but getting them out of the scoop on the Phoenix's robotic arm has been a different story. On Monday, the arm attempted to drop soil samples from the Snow White area onto a screen above the lander's testing oven--but very little dirt fell from the scoop.
