Yanagisawa at the controls of the Gen H-4. Besides the engines and the coaxial rotors, the machine has very few parts--little more than the seat, the handlebars, a small cowling between the engine and the pilot's head, and a footrest/landing gear that looks like the legs of an ironing board. It weighs about 165 pounds (the pilot roughly doubles the weight), and has a top speed of about 55 miles per hour.
