A successful touchdown for Suitor in the Thunderpack. So will we be seeing these flying around town (or even replacing scooters as the transportation of choice at the Googleplex) any time soon? Probably not. Plenty of transportation regulations would have to go into place before these would be allowed anywhere near your average urban center.
But as disaster relief and emergency rescue equipment, jet packs might show more promise. That is, if they can stay in the air for a bit longer.
