Only one Tacit Blue was ever built. The 15-ton, 55-foot-long single-seat plane flew 135 times from 1982 to 1985. Its power plant was a pair of Garrett ATF3-6 high-bypass turbofan engines. That opening in the roof is the air inlet. The plane is now on display at the National Museum of the Air Force, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
