Over at NASA's Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Miss., core components of the J-2X engine were installed on the A-1 Test Stand. This engine testing will actually examine technology from the Apollo Program to obtain data to build higher-performance engines for the Ares I and Ares V launch vehicles. The rockets are being built for the Constellation Program, which aims to send a manned Orion spacecraft to the moon.
