Wired's NextFest hosted an education day Thursday for hundreds of school kids. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (pictured) gave an opening speech wherein he asked children to consider what life would be like without computers, iPods and cell phones. Studying math and science, he said, "is key to the technology revolution."
