Photos: Safe landing for shuttle despite shield problem

Space shuttle Endeavour ended its 12-day mission with a smooth landing at Cape Kennedy, Florida despite fears raised by a damaged shielding tile.

Astronauts return from a mission that included four space walks, installation of a new section to the International Space Station, delivery of supplies and testing a new power transfer system.
