Like the Earth, Jupiter has its own seasonal light shows (expanded view). The boxed areas are ultraviolet images of Jupiter's auroral emissions, which are about 100 times brighter than the Earth's own Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. The image was made from a collaboration between the Hubble's Advanced Camera for Surveys and the New Horizons spacecraft that did a flyby of Jupiter on February 28.
