Photos: NASA tests moon building

The lunar habitat currently being tested at Langley Reasearch Center has a diameter of about 12 feet. Many rebuilds and modifications are expected before the first buildings are actually used on the moon around 2020. The next phase will be to study rigid vs. inflatable structures.
