Photos: Hurricane Hunters fly into Ike

This photo shows a sunset over Ike through the pilot's heads-up display. The crews take a couple dozen different measurements, including wind speed, wind direction, humidity, barometric pressure, and temperature, and that information is relayed in real time via satellite to ground stations.
