Yet another attempt at personal space flight is the AirScooter II, an open-air one-man helicopter. The prototype weighs about 350 pounds and has an aerobatic engine with 65 horsepower. The company behind the AirScooter says that it's "the next step in personal air flight" and will begin to manufacture and sell the vehicle for recreational and military use in 2008.
