Photos: Robots to the rescue

Segway's Robotic Mobility Platform, also taking part in the NIST evaluation, can carry a 400-pound payload at 18 mph for a distance of 15 miles, TEEX said. The four-wheel-drive electric platform can operate autonomously or by remote control.
