In the driver's saddle of Junior, a bystander couldn't exactly tell whether it's a robot or not. That is, until looking at these six switches and red emergency button that turns the car from autonomous mode to human control. The switches also give engineers on Stanford's Racing Team the ability to test various robotic controls while maintaining handling over the brakes, throttle, steering or other functions.
