Photos: Under the hood of Stanford's robotic race car

Inside Junior, the Passat wagon looks just like any other 2006 model might. But it's modified with a red "stop" button that lets a human driver override the robotic controls if needed. It also has six switches between the driver's side and passenger seat that lets the Stanford Racing Team test various car controls like steering or braking.
