The American Dental Association held its annual meeting in San Francisco's Moscone Center this week. Along with the workshops and educational seminars, manufacturers and distributors showed off their latest wares. We don't do a lot of stories about stuff that goes into your mouth, but in case you ever wondered what it looks like when you're sitting in the chair, here it is.
Pictured is the Camsight digital surgical scope. The probe that goes inside your mouth can magnify objects by 15x or more, giving a dentist a better view of what is going on. What's the image on the screen? That's the inside view, picked up by the probe, of a cavity.
