Home Guardian is working on floor sensors designed to detect falls and feed the information into a PC. The computer then transmits the information to either a monitoring service or caregiver.

The fall-detector system, called the Intelligent Monitoring System, is scheduled for a six-month commercial beta test beginning in mid-July at a senior housing facility in Florida.
