Panel talks about alternative energy, biofuels and green building techniques were held in tents and in this geodesic dome. Designer and ecofuturist Buckminster Fuller popularized the geodesic dome in the mid-20th century as a durable, lightweight and sustainable framework for all sorts of buildings.
