Arizona side of dam

Hoover Dam, as seen from just above water level on the Arizona side of the Colorado River. The dam, which provides power and water to millions of people, is partly in Arizona and partly in Nevada. U.S. Route 93 currently crosses the dam, but in 2010 is scheduled to be rerouted to a bypass bridge.
