Sonoma Cast Stone released last week a low-toxic concrete alternative called LEEDcrete. It is made of recycled ingredients, such as fly ash, paper fiber, sand and pumice, and can be used indoors or outdoors.

LEED stands for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, which is a set of environmentally-minded building specifications. The LEED Green Building Rating System is a national benchmark for designing, building and operating structures.
