Photos: Green tech in focus at MIT Energy 2.0 conference

EVermont, a nonprofit research and development firm, showed off the EVergreen, its own plug-in hybrid. It uses a Solectria drive system and batteries in a Toyota Echo chassis to go about 85 miles between recharges.
