Photos: Solar power pushes Vegas water

The Spring Mountain Road pumping station owned by the Las Vegas Valley Water District. The pumps essentially push water 200 feet uphill, and gravity then sends it to homes. The district is trying to run the pumps more on solar energy. The pumps are underground; the solar panels sit on top.
