The rest of the changes seem mostly cosmetic, according to the photos and specs Jaguar released Friday. On the exterior, that includes a new grill with the Jaguar insignia, redesigned bumpers and door mirrors that include turning signal lights and new paint colors.
The X-Type sedan with the diesel engine and six-speed automatic transmission should get a combined average of 41 mpg between city and highway, have a top speed of 129 mph and go zero to 60 mph in 9.5 seconds.
While the "estate" version of the X-Type (shown here) gets the same combined gas mileage, it is slightly pokier, taking 9.9 seconds to go from zero to 60 mph and reaching a top speed of 125 mph.
