Photos: Under the hood of the Tesla Roadster

Another employee of TechShop sits in front of the workshop's massive metal cutter. TechShop opened in October with little to no press and has so far attracted 120 members who've made things like robots, custom skateboards, espresso machines and car parts. The girl working the front desk etched flowers into her Mac laptop using one of the workshop's two laser printers.
