The yellow dots on this National Biodiesel Board map mark locations where biodiesel is sold around the country. The majority of biodiesel fueling pumps are located in the Midwest, but most serve trucks rather than passenger vehicles. The use of biodiesel for light cars is increasingly popular on the West Coast, where drivers and small-fry fueling stations often have to ship biodiesel ingredients from the soy farms. Production of biodiesel has tripled in both of the last two years, according to the National Biodiesel Board.
