Photos: Rethinking New York's taxis

This Kia Ronda taxi of the future was collaborated on by Kia Motors America and several design firms. Its signage concept, by Antenna Design, visually broadcasts where the cab is headed and whether the passenger is interested in sharing a ride (and splitting cab fare), in addition to whether the cab is on or off duty.
