Photos: With Zap, driving at 0 mpg

Zap hopes its five-passenger Zap-X electric sports car, with a design based on the Lotus APX, will be on the road by 2008. The proposed price of $60,000 would put it well ahead of the competition.

While details of the Zap-X are sketchy, the company had planned a three-seat electric sports car called the Obvio 12E (left).
