Schwarzenegger in H2H

Back in the real world, GM has actually dabbled in alternative energy for the Hummer. In October 2004, it trotted out this hydrogen-powered H2 model, piloted here by none other than Hummer fan and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The occasion was the dedication of a fueling station in Los Angeles on the state's Hydrogen Highways Network--the plan is that by the end of the decade, every Californian has access to hydrogen fuel along the state's major highways. That can be accomplished with between 150 and 200 stations, at a cost of $75 million to $200 million, the state says.
