A more far-out look comes from the Volkswagen/Audi Design Center California, which is offering up a "stealth-like speedster." The Audi Dynamic Space Frame puts a premium on fluids, with a hydraulic drive replacing the traditional drive shaft and a suspension and other components filled with fluid intended to respond to electrical current to control the ride. In addition, all fluid and electrical systems are routed through the frame itself.
So where's the green element? Audi's designers say they would "offset the resources" used in the construction by purchasing domestic wind power and planting trees.
