Home lighting diversifies, led by LEDs (photos)

Vu1 is a company with a different technology that improves on incandescent bulb energy efficiency but with the same look. Its bulbs use the same method as cathode ray tubes to produce light. Pictured here is its first product, an R30 spotlight, but the company is also intends to a release a general-purpose bulb with even light.
