Jeff Wirth, director of the interactive performance lab at the University of Central Florida's school of film and digital media, created a mixed-reality game revolving around an art heist. While much of the game was played out on the streets of Orlando, Fla., significant scenes also played out in the virtual world.

As part of the experiment, the participant ate dinner with her "crew" at a restaurant both in the real world and in the virtual world. Here, an image of the outside of the virtual restaurant.
