Makoto Iwai, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Namco Bandai Games America (left), and Toru Iwatani, creator of the original Pac-Man game that first hit U.S. arcades and pizza parlors in the early 1980s, announce the debut of Pac-Man: Championship Edition, the first set of new mazes since the game's original release. Championship Edition will be available on Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday, and was first played in the final round of the World Championship.
