Images: A world without oil

Jane McGonigal, a longtime developer of alternate-reality games who has gone to work as an in-house game developer for the independent nonprofit research group Institute for the Future, developed World Without Oil. She's also developed a game called Cruel 2 B Kind. It calls on players to "attack" strangers with random acts of kindness (in real life). Instructions are sent via cell phone.
