Photos: LAN mania hits S.F.

A game enthusiast checks in his homemade equipment at Nvidia's GeForce LAN 2.0 fan appreciation day in San Francisco on Tuesday. The event includes a daylong BYOC (bring your own computer) game competition where individuals and teams are playing first-person shooter titles including "Doom 3," "Battlefield 2" and "Splinter Cell" over an ad hoc network.
