Photos: Apple unleashes new Xserve, Mac Pro

Apple says it has doubled the power of its Xserve server by boosting its memory bandwith with a 1600MHz system bus and 800MHz memory. It also boasts 8-core processing power with Intel Xeon "Harpertown" 5400 chips, 3TB of internal storage, and 32GB of 800MHz memory.

The standard Xserve will retail for $2,999.
