Here are three of Dell's new Dimension desktops, geared toward home and small-business customers. On the left is the E520, which has Intel Pentium D and Core 2 Duo processor options and starts at $719. In the middle is the E521, priced at $329 and equipped with an AMD Athlon 64 or Athlon 64 X2 processor. On the right is the slimmer C521, which starts at $359 and also has AMD processor options.
The Dimension E521 and C521 are Dell's first consumer machines to come with processors from Advanced Micro Devices. All three desktops were introduced Tuesday at Dell Technology Day in New York.
