KDDI Ply concept

KDDI holds a Design Project every year, in which an artist takes on the mobile phone. This year's is called Ply.

Designed by Hideo Kambara, the Ply imagines the phone as a device with a series of layers. One layer is a pop-up projector, shown here, another is a slide-out keyboard, another is a printer, another a game controller, and so on.
