On the left side of the computer screen is Tsuboi's basic skeletal frame, as recognized by the motion-capture software. Reynolds has used the software to create relationships between many of the recorded sensors that correspond to specific body parts. In this way, the system knows what are her arms, legs, torso, and so on so that as she moves, it recognizes her as a human form.
