Photos: Pinball wizard offers look at machines' innards

Michael Schiess, founder and director of the Neptune Beach Amusement Museum, developed the Visible Pinball. This electromechanical machine, like all pre-1977 pinball machines, did not use electronics or computers, so all of its functions are based on mechanical and electromechanical concepts.
