April 7, 2008 12:08 PM PDT

If you're in the right place, it's briefly possible to forget that technology access is scarce in Colombia.

Dunkin' Donuts is a more familiar sight in Bogota than in the San Francisco Bay Area. Juan Valdez Cafe is Colombia's answer to Starbucks, with various outlets found in malls, airports, and throughout its cities.
