LAS VEGAS--Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam kicked off the first day of the CTIA 2008 trade show in Las Vegas with a plea to attendees and lawmakers to avoid regulating the wireless industry the way the wireline telecommunications industry has been regulated.
