HTC won some smiles Stateside when it announced Tuesday that it's bringing its 3G Touch Dual to the U.S.
The unlocked quad-band smartphone will ship with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Edition, HTC's TouchFLO interface, Bluetooth 2.0, and a 2-megapixel camera. The company hasn't said yet how much it'll charge for the Dual, which is already available in Europe and Asia.
Verizon announced on Monday that it has picked up the HTC Touch (the predecessor to the Dual) for its network. Called the XV6900, Verizon's version of the smartphone comes in white and will be available this month for $349.99 with a two-year contract and rebates. Versions of that phone are already available unlocked and on Sprint's network.
