The Intellitrap system is supposed to mosquito-proof a yard nearly an acre in size. The shape of this $250 unit is built to resemble the head of an animal, piquing the critters' curiosity. UV light disorients the pests, and a fan sucks them into a dehydration chamber. A natural attractant containing malt, yogurt, and B vitamins also lures the bugs.
