Another electronics category that experienced zooming growth this Black Friday is digital photo frames. Prices are beginning to come down and the devices can be found plenty of places besides your local Circuit City. "They're a really easy product for people to pick up as a gift item (in stores)," noted Stephen Baker of The NPD Group. Though not on the top of online retail lists from the weekend, it's not a huge surprise, he said. "This is much more kind of a mainstream product. From what I saw, those products seemed to be selling pretty briskly."
