Photos: Vietnam confabs mix tech fever with restraint

You can buy an unlocked iPhone in Ho Chi Minh City for less than $700. People fly them in from the United States. In the summer, newspaper ads offered to unlock iPhones for $100 a pop, but now iPhone "death squads" offer the service for free. More iPhones will likely flood the Vietnamese market once they are sold next month in France, a shorter plane ride away.
