Here's another beauty treatment that got our skeptic alarm sounding. It's not a gadget per se, but an upcoming new product from Clarins that claims to be an ultra-sheer screen mist with a "magnetic defense complex" to protect the skin from "the accelerated aging affects of indoor and outdoor air pollution." At least initially, Clarins claimed Expertise3p, or E3p--made from plant extracts--would combat "the effects of artificial electromagnetic waves," as if cell phones give you wrinkles, in addition to cancer. Clarins' U.S. site sells the product for $40.
