This battery-operated "salon grade" foot smoother from Sharper Image, a sort of sander for the feet, takes the concept of head-to-toe beauty seriously. It promises to remove "the hard, dry skin that builds up on the heels, toes and balls of your feet."
Among the many other gadgets that promise prettier fingers and tootsies without you having to step foot into a nail salon: the electronic nail shaper by Talika (right), which has three different tips for cutting, shaping and polishing nails.
