The L10 comes with a Leica 14-50mm F/3.8-5.6 lens--in fact, you can't buy it without the lens--but Panasonic also will sell separately another lens codeveloped with Leica, a 14-150mm zoom with built-in image stabilization. Panasonic employs the Four Thirds lens mount system, meaning that its lenses also can be mounted to Olympus SLR cameras and vice-versa. Because the sensor is smaller than a frame of 35mm film, a 14-150mm lens has the field of view of a 28-300mm lens on film SLRs.
