Universal Display is one of the labs working on advancing OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology, which can be adapted with various properties. A PHOLED display uses phosphorescence and can potentially convert into light up to 100 percent of the electricity applied to it. TOLEDs are transparent, while FOLEDs are flexible.
