With the prevalence of broadband technology even in remote communities, videoconferencing is proving an easy means for families to stay in touch with elderly parents and grandparents. A number of videoconferencing technologies are available, from D-Link for Windows users to Apple's iChat for Mac users (pictured). iChat lets users include several people in online discussions and is relatively easy for elderly Mac users to maneuver.
